Chikankari kurtis are hard to get at an affordable price. This one I brought under 900 and I’m happy with the product. Having at least one lucknowi kurti in your collection is a mandatory thing. Able to find a black colour is like cherry on the top.

The black net kurti looks really pretty at first glance with its chikankari-inspired embroidery, but it’s important to note that this isn’t authentic chikankari work. The embroidery is machine-done, so it doesn’t have the fine handwork detailing that real chikankari is known for.
That said, the design still looks elegant and stylish, especially for the price point. The net fabric gives it a festive vibe and it pairs well with both ethnic and fusion bottoms. You’ll need an inner/lining since the fabric is sheer.
If you’re looking for genuine chikankari, this might not satisfy you. But if you just want the look of a chikankari in a trendy black kurti without spending too much, this is a good option.

I recently added this chikankari Kurti to my wardrobe, and it’s such a lovely piece! The fabric is light, airy, and flows beautifully—perfect for warmer days or layered looks. I love the subtle elegance of the sheer material; it adds a graceful, feminine touch without being too revealing. Paired with a contrasting inner or a statement dupatta, it can easily go from casual chic to festive-ready. Comfortable, stylish, and effortlessly graceful—definitely a favorite!
