Kanjeevaram sarees are made in the Kanchipuram region in Tamil Nadu. The fabric bears the images of all the scriptures embossed on the walls of the temples of the Kanchipuram village.

The colour is magenta. Please check the review photos for the actual colour. The colour in the retail studio photos is NOT accurate. Anyways… It was a beautiful colour and a nice saree. I felt the material could have been better. It felt very flimsy for a silk blend saree. All in all 3/5. Material needs to be improved.
