Description
Special Technique/Craft:
Sanganeri printing is a type of hand-block printing practiced by the Chippa community of Sanganer, Rajasthan. The most popular motifs of this 500 year old craft expressively depict the flora of Rajasthan, as well as other pervasive, innately Indian motifs like paisleys. Typically, Sanganeri prints feature these foliage motifs printed in bright colours onto white or light coloured base fabrics, creating a range of comfortable floral staples
