Description
Special Technique/Craft:
Ikat is a resist dyeing technique where the threads used for weaving are dyed beforehand. The Ikat threads are bound in a pattern so that the threads covered by the binding “resist” the dye, creating a design. The more binding done before weaving, the more complicated the pattern.
Design Details:
Red, white and black Ikat Woven Design dupatta, has pom pom tasseled border
Craft Disclaimer:
Ikat is a traditional dyeing technique where yarns are tied and dyed before weaving, resulting in unique patterns with natural variations in color, alignment, and design. These inherent nuances are the essence of the craft, giving each piece its distinctive character and depth.
