Special Technique/Craft:
Kalamkari is a type of hand-painted or block-printed cotton textile, wherein motifs are inspired by the folklore and are hand-painted using the tool of kalam directly onto the fabric. The process involves washing, rinsing, soaking and bleaching the fabric and applying mordants and dyes using natural substances like indigo (blue), madder (red), mango bark (yellow) and palm sugar (black). Painting on the fabric is done with a kalam, charcoal and myrobalan paste.

The rust brown Kalamkari Angrakha kurta is absolutely beautiful. The hand block print looks very elegant and gives a traditional, authentic touch. The A-line fit is very flattering and falls nicely without clinging. The fabric is soft, breathable, and comfortable for all-day wear. The tie-ups add a stylish detail and help adjust the fit perfectly. Overall, the color, print, and craftsmanship are exactly as shown in the pictures. I’m really happy with the purchase!

I Just love with this kalamkari kurta so far.. although this was my first kalamkari but happy with what I got!.
Looks pretty royal like the best addition to my boho closet.
Really like tha angrakha style with two tie- ups .. one is outer and the other one is inside.. easily adjustable!
I got XL size and I’m 5’4 as its angrakha , length is totally fine with it. It almost below the knees.
Overall love this kurti really well. It’s not exactly transparent but yes its definitely not see through. Colour is actually rusty brown like tobacco colour and obviously no words for print as its kalamkari.
